Impressive Hair Transformation through Finasteride, Minoxidil, Vitamin D and Nizoral Shampoo!
Hair loss can be a challenging journey, which affects not only the appearance, but also self-confidence. Research has shown that women generally prefer men with full hair to men who are bald. With this in mind, our goal is to motivate, inspire and inform.
While hair transplantation operations offer a solution there is a less explored path, where you do not have to be under the knife. Filled with determination, science-based methods and renewed hope.
In the hair transformation series we present you to individuals who have chosen an alternative approach to combat hair loss. They use the power by combining more proven methods such as minoxidil, , finasteride, dutasteride, ketoconazole shampoo and microneedling, and refute the idea that hair loss is an irreversible journey. These are stories of conservation and potential recovery.
By sharing these experiences and insights, we aim to enable you to explore the possibilities on your way to healthier, fuller and more resilient hair. The battle against hair loss is far from over, and this series is your source of inspiration.

In this blog we go deep into the experiences of an individual who has started a transformative journey for hair growth, using a combination of finasteride, minoxidil, vitamin D and Nizoral shampoo.
Start of the Journey: 18 Months
Hello there, after 18 months I am satisfied with the progress of my journey for hair growth. Fortunately, I did not experience any side effects, apart from the typical hair loss in the beginning. An interesting observation I made is that my hair looks greyer, especially on the sides. I can't say for sure whether this is due to finasteride, minoxidil, or simply the natural aging process. However, I found that my solution is to shave the sides to 0 mm. If anyone has any alternative suggestions, I'm sure I'm open to them. 🙂

Regime and Hair Loss in the First Phases
As for my regime, I take 1 mg of finasteride an hour before bedtime, usually on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. During the first 6-8 months I experienced significant hair loss, which consisted mainly of weak and thin hair.
In addition, I noticed some initial side effects, including a temporary lack of focus and feeling sleepy. I even felt an elevated libido in the early months, which eventually got back to normal.
Around the 12-month mark I paused finasteride for 40 days based on studies suggesting that a fin reset can improve its effectiveness. Remarkably, I did not experience any side effects when I resumed the treatment, and I intend to repeat this cycle in another 6 months.

Interim Results and Hair Loss Processes
As for the hair loss, I haven't kept an exact count of it, but I can say it's less than at first.
Initially the hair loss consisted mainly of weak and thin hair, while now it consists of thicker, healthier strands. It's probably just the normal hair loss process everyone's going through.
Dealing with Hair Loss and Mental Health
As for my mental well-being, I didn't suffer from depression or mood swings, but at first I did have a short-lived phase of brain nebula.
I need to stress that if you ever feel like you're experiencing worrying side effects, it's crucial to reconsider your treatment. Your mental health is priceless, and if necessary you can follow my plan B: Shave everything off.
The Importance of Patience and Hair Growth in Visibility
I share your perspective on vitamin D. A deficit is usually manageable, and it is important to remember that noticeable results can last longer than 10 months.
After that period I started to see some baby hairs in my sleeping area, and it took even longer to return to my baseline because of the significant hair loss I had at first. My recommendation is to give 1.5 to 2 years to assess the full impact.
Moreover, being more active, exercising and spending time outdoors can help. In retrospect, I believe stress played a major role in my rapid hair loss.
Conclusion: A Journey of Challenges and Victories
Update: Now that I have reached the 20-month milestone, my crown is filling well, and I have experienced almost no hair loss in the last two months.
My hair is closer and thicker than I can remember in a long time, and I'm even considering visiting a hairdresser for the first time in years. I continue to follow the same regime, but remember to add a dermapen for possible profit in my hairline. I am super happy with the progress!
Surprising discovery: Attraction and Intelligence
I decided to test both of my photos on Photofeeler, where people can give reviews for your photos. For this experiment I had specifically only women evaluate my photos in the dating section, with three criteria: Smart, reliable and attractive.
This little social test did not yield the insights I had hoped for. Help! 😑
This journey for hair growth brings with it its challenges, but also victories that are worth it. These personal stories bear witness to determination and hope. They show that, even without hair transplants, it is possible to work on hair growth with scientific knowledge.
